Mission Statement

The Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice strives to create a world where our collective needs are met sustainably and nonviolently.

We value the interconnectedness of all life. We emphasize cooperation and respect for diversity. We are committed to nonviolent conflict resolution, working for peace within ourselves, our community, and our world.

We provide space for organizations and individuals working on peace and justice issues to network with one another, share information, and learn from each others' work. Through our programs and collaborations, we work locally to support regional and global justice.

P&J is frequently open Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm

Please call ahead to confirm that a volunteer is at the front desk.

ACP&J Membership Meeting Saturday March 2nd 2024, 4 – 6 pm

You are invited to a super sweet and mellow meeting. Your presence is important to the Peace Center and sincerely appreciated.

You are welcome to bring snack or (nonalcoholic) beverage to share if you would like to. We shall have tea and coffee ready.
An agenda will be presented presently.
As you know, ACP&J is a member and volunteer-led organization. We deeply appreciate all our volunteers.
One way to give back to the Peace Center and the community is by sharing your time/leadership on the Coordinating Council. Terms are for one year, from one annual membership meeting to the next. A couple hours of your time each week for the next year can help keep the Peace Center active and thriving.
If you are interested in joining on the Coordinating Council, please attend this meeting. Thank you!

* Minutes & agendas of previous meetings, as well as Bylaws are on the website and posted on the corkboard in the foyer, or are already in a binder in the front office for anybody to take a look at.
