Compassion & Choices Albuquerque Chapter	Compassion & Choices - Albuquerque chapter is a nonprofit volunteer organization that supports the rights of hopelessly ill individuals to make their own decisions regarding end-of-life issues. We support public education and discussion, use of advance directives, availability of adequate pain relief, and legislation allowing painless physician-assisted end-of-life for hopelessly ill individuals who request it. We sponsor public lectures by medical and legal personnel, social workers, authors, and others with personal experiences. Publications and other information are available at the public lectures and at the national website, www.compassionandchoices.org .
