The Jericho movement was founded 10 years ago (by former political prisoners Herman Furgeson, Safiya Bukhari, and political prisoner Jalil Muntaqim, @ Anthony Bottoms) as a political and social movement that seeks to gain recognition, support and freedom for all political prisoners and prisoners of war in the United States who have principally struggled and fought against : repression, exploitation and racism and for freedom, justice, and self determination of Native Americans, New Africans ( African slaves and their descendants), and Hispanics, despite the US government's continued denial of their existence.

One of our *goals* is to build a national campaign, with substantial international support, that will compel the U.S. government to admit the existence of it's political prisoners and prisoners of war, and grant them amnesty.

One of our *objectives* is to create and develop a united front with other like minded organizations and individuals around the issue of amnesty for all political prisoners and prisoners of war. Two, to educate communities across the U.S.as to who are PP/POW's and their life stories of of involvement and contributions to the struggle for liberation and independence.

Please feel free to call on us to further discuss these issues as we are, able to be part of public forums, conferences, marches, rallies and demonstrations.
