Welcome to our new renters,
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition of Albuquerque

The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) is proud to announce the establishment of our new office in Albuquerque, New Mexico!

Since the election of President Obama in November, 2008, we have entered into a period of unsurpassed military expansion into Afghanistan, a sharp escalation of military spending, and unprecedented social, economic, and political contradictions. While many welcomed the election of President Obama with expectations of a decrease in hostility towards other sovereign nations, military spending has actually increased dramatically, as threats against countries such as Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela have sharpened.

Meanwhile, in the United States, foreclosures, job losses, cuts in education, healthcare, and other drastically needed social services have skyrocketed.

Come stop by the Peace Center and visit the Southwest office to find out more and to meet A.N.S.W.E.R. organizers. You can hear how we in the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition view the current political reality and the role of the grassroots movement in the critical struggles that lie ahead - in Albuquerque and elsewhere.

As you may know, building a powerful people's movement is what the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition - formed in the first year of the Bush administration - has been dedicated to from the start.

The establishment of the Albuquerque office of A.N.S.W.E.R. is a crucial part of our ongoing dedication to continue to build this movement. To carry on and to expand our work in this critical time, we urgently need your continued support. Please donate now to help with the expenses of setting up our new office and meet and greet A.N.S.W.E.R. organizers in Albuquerque and from other cities around the country.
